Day 1: Met on Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta airport by your safari host & private guide. Transfer to Nairobi Safari Club. Overnight.

Day 2: Buffet breakfast. Safari orientation. Drive in your private safari built vehicle north through pineapple & coffee plantations and crossing the equator to Sweetwaters Tented Camp, lying in the heart of the 22,000 acres Sweetwaters Game Reserve with magnificent views across the plains to the snow capped peaks of Mt. Kenya. Lunch at the Camp. Afternoon game drive including a visit to the Chimpanzee sanctuary. Dinner & overnight: Sweetwaters Tented Camp.

Day 3: Continue further north crossing the equator to Samburu Serena, amidst trees along the banks of Uaso Nyiro River for lunch. Afternoon game drive affords the opportunity to see northern species of game not seen south of equator. Dinner & overnight: Samburu Serena Lodge.

Day 4: Morning & afternoon game drives to see more of Samburu’s typically northern species like Somali ostrich and the vulturine guinea fowl. All meals and overnight: Samburu Serena Lodge.

Day 5 & 6: Breakfast and drive via Thompson Falls to Lake Nakuru National Park in the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at Lion Hill Lodge for lunch & a fullboard stay of 2 nights with morning (6.30 a.m.) & afternoon 3.30 p.m. tour of the park, an ornithologists’ paradise famous for the millions of flamingoes & other birds. All meals & overnights: Lion Hill Lodge.

 
 
 
Day 7: Early breakfast and drive back to Nairobi for lunch. Transfer to Wilson airport for the 3.00 p.m. Airkenya’s scheduled service flight to Masai Mara. Met on Arrival at the airstrip & transferred to Kichwa Tembo Camp with game enroute in the Camp’s 4-WD vehicles. Part of the larger Serengeti ecosystem, Masai Mara ecosystem, Masai Mara provides one of the natures most dramatic spectacle- The Migration in which over a million herds of wildebeest & zebra are involved. Dinner & overnight: Kichwa Tembo Camp.

Day 8 & 9: Two days with morning (6.30 a.m.) and afternoon (3.30 p.m.) game drives. Other animals seen in great numbers include elephants, buffalo and antelopes. The rolling plains teeming with wildlife make Masai Mara one the greatest wildlife viewing areas in the world. All meals and overnight: Kichwa Tembo Camp.

Day 10: 6.30 a.m. last game drive in the Mara. Breakfast and transfer to the airstrip for Airkenya’s scheduled service flight to Nairobi. Met on arrival and last minute shopping in Nairobi. Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta airport for departure flight.

Balloon Safari

During your stay in the Masai Mara you can experience the romance and thrill of a hot air balloon safari.

Your flight lasts for about an hour and half, takes you on gentle ride above the tree top and the savanna of the Mara.You will get the birds-eye view of the diverse plane animals.
